I know its hard to believe, but Halloween is less than 2 weeks away. So, in honor of the season, there are all sorts of cool events happening around town. But, the coolest to me, is the awesome stuff happening at the Robinson Film Center.

They are bringing back some classic horror and suspense films for the season. Saturday October 21st, they'll be showing the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie 'Rear Window'. When it comes to suspenseful thrillers, it doesn't get any better than 'Rear Window'. If you've never seen the movie before, you will not be disappointed. And if you have, it is still a blast to see it on the big screen.

The Robinson will also be showing the cult classic 'Army of Darkness' on Thursday October 26th. AOD stars Bruce Campbell as a demon slaying department store clerk in 1300AD. The premise sounds ridiculous, but trust me, its awesome.  This is another classic that's perfect for this time of the year.

If horror and suspense films aren't your thing, the Robinson is always has something going on. And, if nothing else, you can always stop by Abby Singer's for a drink and some grub.
