‘Shield’ Star Michael Jace Charged With Murder

Michael Jace, who starred on TV's "The Shield", has been officially charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of his wife Monday.

Los Angeles police responded reports of gunshots outside the Jaces' home. Upon arriving at the scene, they found the body of Jace's wife April inside the house. Jace was immediately taken into custody.

Police say that they believe the motive for the shooting is domestic violence.

Michael and April Jace were married for nine years, and had two boys, both under the age of ten, who were in the house at the time of the shooting.
