Well, I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is the Mudbugs lost their opening two playoff games and find themselves 0-2 in a best of five series. The good news is this is Mudbugs hockey we're talking about and anything can happen.

Earlier this month, the hometown hockey squad wrapped up their inaugural season in the NAHL. They ended their season by picking up the second seed in the playoffs, which is beyond impressive by itself.

Then, last weekend, they fell twice to the Corpus Christi Ice Rays at home. Now, they travel to Corpus this Wednesday to play a must-win game in a hostile environment.

The Shreveport Mudbugs will be hosting a watch party for fans across the Ark-La-Tex to gather and support the Bugs.

The watch party is set for 7:00 PM, Wednesday, at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bossier.
