Do You Remember When the Worst Arsonist in the World Tried to Burn Country Tavern Down?

In April of 2020 a man was caught on camera trying to set Shreveport's Country Tavern Barbeque on fire, luckily he failed and the business is still standing.

The Last Time Country Tavern Barbecue in Shreveport Addressed the Community Was on April 8th 2022.

Their Facebook post said "Hello Shreveport/Bossier. We here at the Country Tavern understand your pain and angst with our beloved restaurant and bar being closed much longer than first anticipated. We are just as ready to be reopen as you are. Believe me when I say that our team is working tirelessly on getting back open but, due to supply issue and everything that has been out of our control; it has taken much longer than anyone could have imagined. Please bare with us a little longer and, trust us when we say it will be worth the wait. See you all very soon!"
