Slide the City Slips Into Shreveport Saturday, August 20

Ready for the ultimate summer cool down? The biggest slip-n-slide craze in North America is coming to Shreveport, Louisiana. Slide the City is happening Saturday, August 20. How cool would it be to slide down a gigantic slip-n-slide right in the middle of downtown?

Honestly, this is one of the coolest things to come to our area. It's pretty much hotter than Hades right now, so it’s the perfect way to cool off. I know we've had quite a bit a rain recently, but if you’re worried this is a complete waste of precious water, think again. Slide the City works to conserve water and limit their impact on our environment.
