SNL Takes on EDM DJ’s with Andy Samberg on the 1’s and 2’s

Saturday Night Live has done it again with their latest SNL Digital Short. Andy Samberg was the guest host this past weekend for the season finale, and he brought me back to the old days where I actually laughed while watching SNL. Four words... Turnt Up to Death!

In this digital short, Samberg plays DJ "DAVVINCCII". He takes on the role of the stereotypical EDM DJ. He dawns a nice wig, and an even nicer leather jacket. SNL has the set-up down pat with a huge stage complete with LED lighting and a packed dance floor. DJ Davvincci's pay-day may seem a little drastic, but it's actually pretty accurate considering Deadmau5 charges around $250,000 PER SHOW!

While my interest in SNL has certainly dropped off in recent years, this had me rolling.

Oh and Lil Jon has a cameo... When Will the Bass Drop?? We're all dying with anticipation!
