I've watched this video from Louisiana State University Shreveport a couple of times now. I still haven't quiet got it all figured out yet. I'm guessing that it's showcasing all the awesome things you can do at LSUS. Learning, dancing, pool tables, and doing the Wobble - all the Script's song "Hall of Fame"...

Zach Ortner, a fabulous K945 listener, contacted me a few weeks ago regarding an event being put on by the student board members of The Society for Human Resource Management at LSUS. When he ran this event past me, I loved it! Please join them for The Red Hanger Event which will benefit Dress for Success and help disadvantaged women regain economic independence!

An LSU-Shreveport senior English major has been selected to participate in an international internship program in Kabul, Afghanistan.

K945's own Chris Demirdjian is involved and will be there, so stop by and say hi... I have a soft spot for Kappa Sigs... A long time ago and far, far away, I was the Kappa Sig Pledge Class Sweetheart at Bowling Green State University (Go Falcons!) while I was pledging Kappa Kappa Gamma... Which basically means my mother got to bake brownies and send me care packages for the boys;)
