Has the Independence Bowl Found Its Sponsor?

The Shreveport Times is reporting that while the announcement was planned to reveal the sponsor on Wednesday, Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar is the sponsor.  The Shreveport times also reports that Jacob Hester a partner with Walk On's tweeted that they were the title sponsor.  His tweet was later deleted.

This all sounds good but we need the official word.  Executive Director of the I-Bowl, Missy Setters has not yet commented on who the official sponsor for the Independence Bowl will be. We do know that the official announcement is expected soon and we cannot wait.  It is football season and we are ready for the bowl games.  The Independence Bowl is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 12:30 p.m so start making plans now and let's help sell out the 2017 Independence Bowl!
