‘Tinsel’ : The Perfect Shopping Experience for Shreveport-Bossier

Tinsel offered the perfect local Christmas shopping experience.

Friday was Girls Night Out for me and Tinsel was on the agenda. Tinsel, described as a "chauffeured shopping experience" was a fantastic Christmas shopping experience that was uniquely Shreveport-Bossier.

Shoppers gathered at Superior Steakhouse for a quick bite to eat and a drink before heading down to the corner to catch the shuttle or trolley. Then we were whisked up and down Line Avenue to various stops. Each location offered up their best items along with beverages and delectable treats.

We didn't make it to every stop because we got wrapped up at some of the shops, but it was exciting to see men and women flock to the shuttle with tons of bags in tow. We made plenty of friends on the shuttle rides and danced the night away to Christmas music on the trolley.

The best part was that every stop featured local shops. I really enjoyed chatting with various business owners. Shreveport-Bossier offers a world of opportunity for business owners and consumers alike.
