Tonight is the Harvest Moon Eclipse!

The Harvest Moon is the full moon falling closest to the start of Fall which is next Thursday! Farmers used to use the Harvest Moon to well do just that add extra hours to their day so they could harvest their plants. BUT Tonights is extra special because not only is it the Harvest Moon but it's also a Lunar Eclipse! This won't happen again until 2024!! And if you were wondering a Lunar Eclipse is when the moon appears darkened as it passes into the earth's shadow. So get the camera out because tonight is a great night for pictures!!
