Tracy Morgan hosting a live awards show...what could possibly go wrong?

Billboard magazine announced Wednesday that the former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star will host the Billboard Music Awards May 19. The ceremonies will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Artists scheduled to perform include Bruno Mars, Miguel, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Prince, who will receive the Billboard Icon Award.

Morgan said in a statement that he is honored to be chosen as host and added, "And how can you say 'no' when Prince is going to be there!"

The Billboard Music Awards will be telecast live on ABC (KTBS 3) at 7 p.m.
