Victor Espinoza, who rode American Pharoah to the first Triple Crown victory since 1978 in Saturday's Belmont Stakes, has announced that he will donate all his winnings to charity.

“At the wire I was like, ‘I cannot believe I did it,'” Espinoza said, according to Louisville Courier-Journal reporter Steve Myrick. “I (won) the Triple Crown race now, but I didn’t make any money, because I donated my money to the City of Hope.”

Myrick says that American Pharoah trainer Bob Baffert and wife Jill also donated $100,000 spread equally to three charities after winning the race.

In case you missed it, here's that history-making moment.
