Tyler Resident Stevie Jo Makes Team Usher on ‘The Voice’

Stevie Jo from Tyler, Texas took a big risk singing one of the judge's songs during his blind audition, but it paid off. He is now on Team Usher.

Stevie sang Usher's song "There Goes My Baby", which is not an easy song to sing, let alone doing it in front of the person who made it famous. However, after nailing a key note he got Usher to turn his chair.

Despite his love for R&B, Stevie is the son of two heavy metal band members. He was often teased in school for sounding like a girl however, he took that and turned it into a positive. He threw himself into theater and earned himself a scholarship.

Adam Levine joked, "He sounds like Usher, but looks like Blake!"
