According to E! Online, Richard Gere and Padma Lakshmi have broken up! I know, I know... I had no idea either!

The two tried to keep their relationship under wraps, but the two apparently had been together for the last six months.

And if the relationship seems odd to you because of the age difference, you're not alone. Lakshmi is 44, while Gere is 64. I don't know which is more unbelievable... that Padma is 44 and still look 25 or the fact that she saw something in Richard! Apparently the two decided that they would be better off as friends.
