Will Smith did an interview with the BBC's Radio OneXtra where he discussed working with Janet Hubert, who played "Aunt Viv" during the first three seasons of The Fresh Prince of Belair.

"I think that Janet Hubert brought a really powerful dignity to ['The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air']," Smith said. "I think she’s brilliant. I think as an artist, there's so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist.  So I loved what she brought to the 'Fresh Prince.'"

Hubert left the show in 1993 due to "creative differences" and was replaced by Daphne Maxwell-Reid. Hubert released a viral video responding to Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith's decision to boycott the 88th annual Academy Awards for its lack of diversity in its acting nominations, but recently said she has "respect" for Jada.

"I respect Jada highly," Hubert said on a recent episode of talk show The Real. "I respect her skill, I respect her as an artist, I respect her as an actress, very much."

So, will they be burying the hatchet anytime soon? We'll keep you posted.
