Did you know that back in January 2010, Moviemaker Magazine ranked Shreveport 3rd in their list of top 10 cities to live, work, and make movies?

True story! Moviemaker Magazine also named Shreveport 4th in a list of the top 25 cities to live, work, and make movies in 2009. That's a strong endorsement if you ask me!

I can't lie, when Straw Dogs was filming in the Shreveport and Vivian areas in 2009, I was tempted to stalk Alexander Skarsgard. I didn't. But I did get to meet Alex and James Marsden.

Clearly, this list is subjective. But this is our list of the hottest actors who have filmed in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. To make sure I didn't leave anyone out, I've included both TV and movies shot right here in northwest Louisiana. Now, on with the countdown!

In addition to meeting Vampire Eric aka Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood, I got to meet Hoyt Fortenberry aka Jim Parrack who was also in True Blood. He was in town filming Battle Los Angeles when they held the wrap party for Straw Dogs at Phoenix Underground in downtown Shreveport.

I know I didn't include Ashton Kutcher, Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise, or a few other big names. But this list is about who we think is hot! However, we always want to hear from you! Think we missed one or that we are entirely off base?
