The III Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Bossier City's Louisiana Boardwalk opened with tons of fanfare on Cinco de Mayo, but rumor has it that the eatery and entertainment complex has already closed its doors.

Is Bossier City's III Amigos Restaurant on the Boardwalk Closed?

Sadly, the answer is yes. We were first alerted to the rumor that the restaurant was closing it's doors for good in the 318 Eats! group on Facebook. Because it's a private group, we aren't able to share the post. However, one member tagged co-owner of the venture, Randy Rogers, in the post asking if the rumors were true and he confirmed the closing, saying, 'Yes, we are closed. Thank you to everyone that supported us.'

A quick check of The III Amigos Facebook page didn't show any mention of the restaurant's closing. Nor did their website. While we pray that every new locally owned business that opens in our area is a roaring success, sadly, this one wasn't... even despite having live music AND a mechanical bull.

Of course, a lot of folks are saying we didn't need yet another Mexican restaurant in town, however, other new ventures like Habacu's Tex Mex Restaurant in Bossier City, are thriving. The III Amigos was in the former Buffalo Wild Wings spot on the Louisiana Boardwalk. I'd hate to see that prime real estate go to waste. What would you like to see in that location?
