4th of July Machete Incident Puts One Man in Hospital and Another Behind Bars

As you were popping fireworks and celebrating Independence Day there were some folks not having such a good time.

According to news sources, James D Cunningham Jr. was taken into custody after stabbing a man in the chest with a machete. Apparently there was an argument between them that got physical on Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway in Shreveport.

I don't know about you, but this story threw me for a loop. There are so many unanswered questions.

How did he get a machete?

What was the argument about?

Is the guy that got stabbed okay?

According to news sources, the person who took a machete to the chest has not been identified but was taken to University Health with life-threatening injuries.
