Shreveport's new favorite real estate investor, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, has the city buzzing about the new G-Dome club hitting downtown. After Shreveport got a tease of it during the first Humor and Harmony weekend, it seems like The Sphere in Las Vegas is going to have a cousin in Louisiana.

Why Shreveport Getting a G-Dome Sphere is a Big Deal

The Las Vegas Sphere has become just as famous, if not more so, than the neon signs that line the Vegas Strip, covered inside and out with colorful LED screens that demand attention. Vegas's Sphere is an entertainment venue that touts an immersive experience thanks to the high-resolution video screens surrounding the stage and audience.

From live concerts from beloved boy bands to Fortnite skin reveals with top gaming streamers, The Sphere offers a unique experience that's hard to get anywhere else. Shreveport is about to get its own immersive spherical event center, similar to Vegas', thanks to 50 Cent.

The G-Dome: Shreveport's Own Sphere Takes Root

The 318 already got a preview of the G-Dome in 2024 during the first Humor & Harmony festival hosted by 50 Cent. The comedy show and concerts were simulcast live to the G-Dome, allowing partygoers to enjoy the event in a club atmosphere.

The G-Dome is returning to Shreveport as a permanent fixture and is already under construction on the same spot in Downtown Shreveport where the first temporary club was built. With the second Humor & Harmony festival confirmed to be in the works, it's only logical to assume the G-Dome's surprise announcement has something to do with the festival.
