When I was 15, I was camped out on the couch eating Cheetos and playing Grand Theft Auto. This kid has me beat.

The Rubik's cube has always been fascinating to me. It's astonishing to me that anyone can solve a random Rubik's cube at all, much less do it in a few seconds.

Think about it, there are exactly 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 combinations on a Rubik's cube, yet human beings can solve them at about the same amount of time it takes to say that number out loud.

I've literally got a Rubik's cube at my desk and I'lI mess around with it daily, I have never once solved it. I've had it for seven years.

If you're like me and you also can't solve a Rubik's cube, this next piece of info is sure to make you feel worse. The current world record holder for solving one the fastest is 15 years old.

Patrick Ponce is the kid's name, and somehow, he solved a scrambled Rubik's cube in 4.69 seconds.
