Adam Levine Disses The Voice Winner Javier Colon

Adam Levine mentored Javier Colon on The Voice last year but he’s not helping him out anymore. Javier was last year’s winner and he is returning to the stage tonight along with other finalists from last year. Most of former finalists will be performing with some big names, including Cyndi Lauper and Cee-Lo, but Javier is the only one singing alone. The show is pitching it that since Javier was the winner, he can carry his own performance and doesn’t need a celebrity at his side but the truth is, Adam wouldn’t help him out. Javier approached Adam about singing back up vocals but Adam rejected the idea. He said that he would only work with him if the performance was a cover and not one of Javier’s original songs. Neither one refused to budge, so Javier is just going to perform alone.

But sources are saying that Adam doesn’t support Javier anymore because he hasn’t had any success since The Voice. Adam knows that Javier had an attitude problem and wouldn’t take any direction, and that’s why his album flopped.
