AEW’s 3-Hour Collision in Louisiana Could Revive Ring of Honor
Coming just a few weeks after one of All Elite Wrestling's biggest shows of the year, AEW Dynasty, it seems they have another huge show planned in Louisiana.
AEW Collision in New Orleans Could Be Massive
Keen fans of AEW noticed that the upcoming April 26th episode of Collision in New Orleans is scheduled to run three hours on TNT, compared to the show's normal one hour.
An extra two hours could be big for what most AEW fans consider the lesser of AEW's weekly TV shows. Currently, the April 26th episode (which will be taped on April 23rd) is scheduled with a soft start time of 7:30 Central Time, but depending on how long the NBA Playoffs go the start time could change.
Could New Orleans Be A Chance At Rebirth For Ring Of Honor?
It's pretty commonly thought that Ring Of Honor has been mishandled since Tony Kahn welcomed the brand into his wrestling empire.
The reign of Chris Jericho as the ROH World Champion has finally come to an end and wrestling fans have been rejoicing at the end of what many consider a boring reign as the champion of a beloved brand. With Bandido the new face of ROH and Athena challenging Mercedes Mone in a champion versus champion bout, ROH has managed to find some TV time on AEW's shows.
AEW Collision is tapped alongside Ring of Honor's weekly show, and usually, Collision sees athletes from ROH appear on the AEW show.
Since ROH has had more time on AEW shows in recent weeks than usual, this upcoming super show edition of Collision could be the turning point for what was once thought the third biggest wrestling company in the USA.
