Shreveport Celebrates Grand Opening of Discount Grocery Store
The Wait is Finally Over for Aldi's in Shreveport.
Big things were happening in southwest Shreveport on Thursday morning. A brand new grocery store opened its doors to eager shoppers. Die hard ALDI's fans showed up outside of the store as early as 4:30 a.m. to be able to visit the new store first. There was a ticket system set in place to keep the crowds calm and to keep a good flow going.
The First ALDI's in Northwest Louisiana is Officially Open.
ALDI is adding 120 new stores all over America to meet the growing demand for quality, fresh groceries at the lowest possible prices. Who doesn't love saving money?
Commissioner Mario Chavez showed up to the grand opening and said "SOUTHERN HILLS Today is the day"
With Rising Inflation, There Couldn't Be a Better Time to Get an Aldi's in Shreveport.
ALDI is gearing up to have more than 2,400 stores nationwide by the end of 2023. In a press release Jason Hart the CEO of ALDI U.S. said "While inflation is undoubtedly driving unprecedented demand for affordable groceries, we know that once customers experience the ALDI difference, they keep shopping with us, even when the economy improves. Our growth is led by our customers, and they continue to want more ALDI locations coast-to-coast."
