Arrest Made After Man Crashes Truck in to Shreveport Wendy’s
A man wrecked his truck in to the Wendy's on Pines Road on Sunday (9/26/21). The call came in around 5pm on Sunday. When police arrived on the scene, they saw a white pickup truck sticking out of a storage area of the fast food restaurant, behind the drive-thru.
An employee of the Pines Road Wendy's had to help pull the male driver from his vehicle after the crash. Police questioned the driver on the scene, and they arrested the man after the crash. No word yet on the possible charges for the driver. There is also no word on if the driver or any employees were injured.
This is an ongoing investigation. No word on if the Wendy's will be back open and operating at a regular capacity. There will be repairs being made to the fast-food restaurant until the mess is cleaned up.
