Based on Wins, Louisiana is Nation’s Best College Football State
It's been a wonderful year for college football in the state of Louisiana.
It goes without saying that one school in the country has stood tall above the rest all season long. The LSU Tigers have smashed records all season and have left every other collegiate football team far behind in a cloud of dust. The 2019-2020 LSU season will go down as not just one of the most incredible LSU seasons ever, but one of the most impressive seasons in college football history.
Outside of Baton Rouge, our state has a few more reasons to be proud this football season. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs capped off their impressive 10-3 season with a shut-out victory over Miami in the Independence Bowl. The UL Ragin' Cajuns also finished the regular season in high fashion with a record of 10-3.
Including LSU's 14 wins, that gives our state's top three FBS programs with a whopping 34 wins.
34 wins for our state gives Louisiana the highest number of wins compared to any other state's top three FBS schools. Ohio is in second with 31 wins between Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Miami University.
