Last week, we did an informal poll on our Facebook page, asking for the "Best First Date Spots In Shreveport-Bossier City". We received a lot of, shall we say, interesting, responses. But several seemed to show up consistently. After crunching the numbers, and throwing out the absurd (a strip club? really?), here are the...drum roll, please...Top 5 Places To Go On A First Date In Shreveport-Bossier:
The consensus is that there is something for everyone at the Boardwalk, so if the date is going south, you can always find something else to do.
2) The Riverfront
It appears that the "quiet walk on the beach", or in our case, the riverfront, is more than a cliche...
3) The Casinos
Well, every first date is a crap shoot after all...
4) Bowling
Bowling? Who knew that rolling a ball into a bunch of wooden pins could spark romance? And Holiday Lanes seemed to be the place to get your bowl on.
5) Dining out. Several different restaurants were named, but the following were at the top of most people's list:

Great food, live music, and reasonable prices. A nice all-around experience without breaking the bank.
When you’re hankering for a taste of classic Louisiana without the “not another crawfish place” complaint, head over to Bistro Byronz. Try them for Sunday brunch–they make a ridiculous Bloody Mary that makes Sunday feel a little more like Saturday night.
