Best Hidden Restaurant Gems in Shreveport/Bossier?
Shreveport/Bossier let us rejoice! We have made the top of another list. This time we aren’t being reminded how fat we are. In case you missed the rude awakening from Wallet Hub and didn’t know that Shreveport/Bossier was voted the 2nd Fattest City in America click here for more information. This time we have been picked as a destination in Louisiana for a fun spring break. We already know that the spring breakers are going to google where to eat. Unfortunately, for them many hidden gems won't pop up and they'll get flooded by several popular chains that they have probably tried before. That isn’t too sweet of a deal for the restaurant owner who has a mom and pop operation and who I’m sure would love to have every single seat filled. What hidden gems in Shreveport Bossier do you think that spring breakers need to try. I listed off some of my favorites and what I like to order below. I really want to know where you go and what dish or drink you enjoy. Hopefully, the folks who are visiting for the first time can try something new to them and unique to Shreveport/Bossier!
Rhino Coffee- The Noble Man. If you like rich and foamy sweet coffee you MUST try this drink. This is coming from someone who normally sips on an iced coffee with a packet of Truvia and a splash of half and half.
Ki Mexico- Yeah the guac is great but have you tried the Gringa taco or the Poblano taco? Saturday night may be pretty packed, you may have to stand in line but you won't be disappointed.
Lucky Palace- If you pull up and you're parked outside of a motel off of I20 you found the place. Walk in, ask for Dexter. I'm a sucker for GOOD Chinese food. I used to steer away from Chinese food on the regular, but this place is a game changer. Dexter the best waiter ever introduced us to The Duck on Scallion Pancake appetizer and he will help you pair your dishes with the perfect wine. Chinese food and wine? Yup, best pair EVER! Might I add one of the best wine lists in town.
Franks Pizza- You like pizza? Unique pizza? Oh, get the burrata appetizer too!
