Bossier City Father and Son Arrested on Sex Abuse Charges
The Bossier Max-Security Facility has a couple of new inmates.
In what would appear a never ending storm of arrests, in regards to inappropriate sexual activities with juveniles in Shreveport/Bossier, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office has made another pair of arrests.
And this time, on separate charges, it's a father and son who lived at the same residence.
According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, this past Friday, March 11, BPSO detectives were investigating Lester D. Cheveallier, 64, of the 6200 block of Hollyhock Lane, in Bossier City, for his use of a social media account to solicit a juvenile victim.
Cheveallier was promptly arrested and charged with one count of obscenity, one count of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, and one count of Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor.
The Plot Thickens
As part of the investigation, BPSO detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for Cheveallier’s residence.
While searching a computer at the residence, detectives discovered around thirty pornographic child sexual abuse images of children under the age of 13.
However, that computer wasn't owned by Cheveallier. It belonged to his son, Clayton D. Hinton, 41, who also lives at the home. Detectives arrested Hinton and charged him with thirty counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
Both men were booked into the Bossier Max-Security Facility. For his crimes, Cheveallier's bond is set at $85,000, while Hinton’s bond is set at $150,000.
