This Saturday, the Bossier City Maker's Fair is set for the Louisiana Boardwalk!  This annual event is a great opportunity for craft lovers and tinkerers to check out over 100 different artists wares and gain a very unique insight into how they do their "making."

According to the event's website, the fair will feature handcrafted "pottery, stained glass, knitting, art, upcycled furniture, soap, jewelry, home décor, clothing, and more," from local artists from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. this Saturday.  There is no admission price and parking is free!  Along with the numerous restaurants already taking up residence at the outdoor mall, a wide variety of foods brought in especially for the event will be available in case you get hungry.  Organizers made sure to provide plenty of activities for the youngest visitors of the fair, too.  Bounce houses, face painters, balloons, and games will be in full swing as well as live music to complete the family friendly atmosphere.

As the dad of 2 very curious, and "hands-on," kids - I know our family will be there.  Find out more on the official website here.
