The saga of James Alfred Davis III began early Saturday afternoon, April 17, with a family squabble. As lots of people will do, following a situation like this, around 1:30 pm, Davis walked out of his home in the 14000 block of Highway 157 near its intersection with Bodcau Dam Road.

He disappeared into the woods and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Now, Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for help in locating Davis.

Bossier Sheriff's Office deputies have searched the woods by ground and by the air using drones in the area, but have been unable to locate any sign of Davis and now they are hoping that someone may have spotted Davis or know of his whereabouts to bring some comfort to the family.

Davis stands 6 feet tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

His family is concerned for his welfare and urges anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to contact the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-2203.
