BOSSIER SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT LOOKING FOR HORSE OWNER

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says the Bossier Sheriff’s Department is looking for the owner of a horse picked up on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, in the 4000 block of Highway 527 in Haughton.
The animal will be sold at public auction on April 23, 2011, unless claimed by the owner. Attempts by Bossier Sheriff’s deputies to locate the horse’s owner have been unsuccessful.
After a proper identification of the animal, the claimant must pay the Bossier Sheriff’s Department for the costs of care, custody and control, before the animal will be released.
Anyone who has information concerning this horse’s ownership should call the Bossier Sheriff’s Department at 318-965-2203.
