Children’s Miracle Network Program Spotlight: Sports Medicine
If your child is injured while playing school sports, there's a certified athletic trainer on staff that is funded by Children's Miracle Network.
The work that Children's Miracle Network does reaches beyond the Christus Health Shreveport-Bossier campuses. The money you donate also goes to area high schools so they can provide certified athletic trainers on campus. Christus is able to do this through a partnership with Highland Clinic.
Area schools who benefit from this are Captain Shreve, Haughton, Loyola College Prep, North Desoto, and Parkway. These trainers can attend to your child on the field/court. It's much faster than transporting the child to a hospital, although that is available if needed.
On March 26 and 27 we’re going to ask you to open your heart and your wallet for CMN.
We’ve teamed up with Children’s Miracle Network and Christus Health Shreveport-Bossier for The Miracle Makers Radiothon and it is solely For the Kids (#FTK). As a Miracle Maker, your $12 a month will go to the incredible programs funded by CMN like the Sports Medicine program at area high schools. That’s the beauty of CMN. Every dollar raised will stay right here to help those around us.
