I love music.  For me, it's the sound of emotion set to a heart-beat like rhythm.  I feel like it's the best way to document and feelings beyond the words.  One way songwriters and composers convey emotions without words is through the musical "key." Most music is written in what is called a "Major Key."  In this key, all of the notes complement each other, giving the arrangement a happy, even sound.  A "Minor Key," shifts some the notes from a major key to add an unsettling, almost scary tone to any music that uses it.  Horror movies use this key all the time to put you on the edge and give you a feeling of unease.

In the video below, Chase Holfelder rearranges classic Christmas music in minor keys to give the happy, celebratory music that we are used to a brand new, slightly unsettling sound.
