Congrats To The Haughton Lady Bucs Softball Team!

Congrats to the Haughton Lady Bucs Softball team on their fourth consecutive undefeated season in district! This is a huge deal for the Lady Bucs as in the past, they've played at the 4A level and now this year in the 5A division.

Last night was the final district showdown between Haughton and Lady Jackets at Byrd with a 5-4 HHS win leaving the team 21-5 overall and with a record of 12-0 in district. It should be good enough to keep the girls in the top 10 in the state. Tonight is the Lady Bucs last regular season game at 5pm as they take on Lakeside at Haughton for Senior Night. Byrd took second place in the district with a record of 16-10 and 8-3 in district play. Clearly, I'm biased as I not only have a Haughton Lady Buc on the field but I'm a Buccaneer alumnae myself:) Congrats to all of the local teams and (of course) a big congrats to the Haughton Lady Bucs Softball team!
