Conor McGregor Tweets That He Has “Decided To Retire Young”

The MMA world is in shock this afternoon as it appears that the most popular fighter on the planet is stepping away from the sport.

Current UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor sent out a tweet this afternoon that makes it appear he is indeed retiring.

McGregor is currently training for his huge rematch against Nate Diaz who humbled him with a nasty chockehold a few months ago. That's why this retirement has caught everyone so off guard.

At the same time, I can't blame him. It's a brutal sport that has made him a lot of money, might as well quit while you're ahead.

Anyways here's his tweet from earlier today, followed by a tweet from his longtime coach that pretty much confirms the news. Heck, Nate Diaz even got in on the action.
