As a country, we've been watching the Super Bowl on television since 1967.  That's the year Super Bowl I featured the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs in the very first professional football championship game.  You better believe we've been upping the food game at our viewing parties ever since - and now that easy delivery options exist for virtually every restaurant in Shreveport-Bossier City, an entire culinary world is at our fingertips.

With almost unlimited food options for our Super Bowl party this year, the delivery experts at Waitr wanted to know exactly what Louisiana residents were craving the most on Super Bowl Sunday.  The foods on this list aren't exactly surprising, but knowing how popular they really are may help you pick the game-time munchies most likely to please everyone.

According to Waitr Spokesperson Dean Turcol's statement to the Louisiana Radio Network, the big upset was at the top of the list this year as French fries took the #1 spot away from hot wings.  Turcol says that most of the list is finger foods, but don't you worry - there's plenty of "Louisiana" representation on the menu as well.  According to the report, Waitr makes these lists for every state and Louisiana is the only one with fried pickles on it!
