Among all of the other disappointments that 2020 handed us was the fact that highly-anticipated arrival of Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ was indefinitely delayed.  Originally, the delicious eatery planned to launch their new location in the Ratchet City last year.  The COVID-19 pandemic threw a major monkey-wrench into those plans - but thankfully didn't derail them altogether.

According to a delectable report from QSR Magazine, the plan to bring the deliciousness to Shreveport is back on track!  Crave's second Louisiana, brick-and-mortar restaurant will be located at 7041 Youree Drive.  To make this news even better, operators are confident the new eatery will be slinging hot dogs this summer!

This is just the beginning of Crave's Bayou State takeover, as the chain has its sights set on opening 5 restaurants across the state over the next 3 years.  Reportedly, Crave will also be rolling out their world-famous food truck in conjunction with the restaurant - so it's a sure bet we will see them at lots of festivals in the very near future.

If you've never heard of Crave, here's what you can expect: BBQ sandwiches, sliders, plates, and hot dogs you can customize with any of the 20+ toppings available and a self serve  beer wall with anywhere from 24-32 taps.  The restaurant will also reportedly be very family-friendly, boasting a patio for outdoor dining and lots of games like cornhole and ring toss for everyone to enjoy while their wolfing down numerous hot dogs.
