The Shreveport Convention Center will be invaded by life-sized dinosaurs in September. Jurassic Quest just announced they are coming to Shreveport from September 17th through September 19th. The prehistoric experience will take over the Shreveport Convention Center.

One of the only places you can get your dino fix in is over 3 1/2 hours away from Shreveport. The fact that Dinosaurs are coming to us is exciting!

My nephew may not pronounce anything correctly but the boy sure knows all the different types of dinosaurs. Every time I visit he wants to show off all his favorite dinosaurs. I love learning about dinosaurs through him, but I am eager to take him and show him massive dinosaurs that move and roar.

You and your kids can get up close and personal with over 100 realistic life-sized dinosaurs. Jurrasic Quest is also encouraging us to take a deep dive into ancient oceans. One of the exhibits focuses on one of my biggest fears, the 50-foot long Megladon! Talk about a predator that infiltrates my nightmares, but I am ready to face my fears and see that guy up close and personal.

Expect to make a day out of it with your kids. Jurrasic Quest will let your kids ride massive dinosaurs your kids can get in on fossil digs, and check out all the cool craft stations.  Your kids can also meet the dino babies, Cammie the Camarasaurus, that were "hatched" by Jurassic Quest. The hours for Jurassic Quest are Friday from 1 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.

Tickets are now on sale if you want to snag some now just click here or visit  www.jurassicquest.com.
