Do You Use a First Date Spy?

Back when I was freshly single I was encouraged to "get back out there". This happened right after the break up. I was very nervous about going on dates, so I would text Carter and Brandon a code word to let them know that I needed to get out of the situation immediately.

They have never acted as actual spies that would sit in on location in disguise with a fake mustache and a newspaper, but I always made sure they knew where I was and with who along with a photo of the person. I have seen way too many episodes of The First 48 Hours and Unsolved Mysteries that I am just a tad bit paranoid.

According to Refinery29, more women are doing this when they go on dates. Specifically on the first date! I love that women are being more careful when meeting up with a new person, and that true friends are showing that they will always have your back. The best thing about this new trend is the photos and the fake mustaches.
