Drag Queen Story Time in Lafayette Put on Hold

There's no shortage of controversy surrounding UL-Lafayette's Drag Queen Story Time, and now there is another snag in the plans.

This has provided quite the conversation in Louisiana. A conversation that, like most things in the world today, has our state divided.

Drag Queen Story Time is a reading event that is being pressent by a UL-Lafayette fraternity. The event, where Drag Queens will read stories to children about accepting their LGBTQ classmates, is now seeking a new location. South Louisiana Community College was originally hosting the event that was set to take place tomorrow, but backed out due to safety concerns.
