Festival Season Is Here! Here’s What’s Going On In March
Spring is approaching and it seems like every weekend in town there's at least one major festival! We've put together below a list of some of the top festivals this month in our area. The best thing is most of these festivals are fun for the entire family so there's no reason to stay home this month... Oh and some of them are FREE!
This is the first year for this event coming up Saturday, March 10th in Shreveport at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. BBQ, Beer and Live Music are sure to make this event a huge hit. Make sure you find a babysitter because this event is 21+!
Patty in the Plaza is the largest St Patrick's Day festival in the Ark-La-Tex and one of the only ones that's fun for the entire family. Saturday, March 17th in Downtown Shreveport at Festival Plaza you'll find Music, drinks (including green beer and other alcoholic beverages), food, games for the kids and the 2nd annual 0.08 Race!
This event just looks better and better the more we look into it because well, Free corn dogs and lemonade and then to top it off free admission! Saturday, March 24th is when it all goes down in the brand-new East Bank District and Plaza area in Bossier City.
If you love being outside listening to live music while eating crawfish and drinking beer then this is the perfect festival for you. This years event will be Saturday, March 24th at Betty Virginia Park in Shreveport with tons of activities for the kids and adults. New this year is the VIP area and 318 Road Race which is a 3.18 mile run through South Highlands to kick off Crawfest.
