Four People Shot at a Gathering in a Minden Park

A gathering in a park turned terrifying over the weekend in Minden. On Sunday (3/26/23) there were people gathered at Ewell Park Recreational Center in Minden in the 8600 block of Harris Street.

At some point during the night a gun was drawn and multiple shots were fired. Four people were left suffering from gunshot wounds, and at least one was airlifted to the hospital.

Minden Police are actively investigating this matter and are still trying to sort out the details of this violent incident. This story will be updated as more information is forthcoming.
