Free NSU Demons Football Camp for Young Athletes Set for Bossier
As the summer starts to dwindle away and parents start back-to-school shopping, we all know that special time in Louisiana is right around the corner. Of course, I'm talking about football! Personally, this season means a little more to me because my son is playing for his school for the first time. Luckily for parents and young athletes in the area - a little extra help is arriving well before the first kickoff under the lights this fall.
Obviously I want to encourage and support my son, but there's just one problem - I didn't play football in school. My only experience on the field was in track (technically just outside of the actual field) and in the marching band. I didn't really have the body for the gridiron, but he definitely does. Unfortunately, I don't have the experience to help him grow as a player - but I know who does!
The NSU Football Machine Steps In
The football experts at Southwestern State University are headed for Bossier City to share their wealth of experience with young athletes exactly like my son! The Demons are hosting a free children’s clinic at Bossier City’s Freedom Fields on Saturday, August the 7th at 11 a.m. The hour-long session is open and free for kids in kindergarten all the way up to 8th grade!
Let Your Kids Watch the Best in Action
Lucky kids in attendance will get the golden opportunity to work with the best of Northwestern State's players and coaches to sharpen their skills and learn new ones to level up their game. According to the ArkLaTex Homepage, those kids will also receive a free ticket to the Demon's home opener against UT Martin on September 18th.
Don't Miss This Opportunity
Although the clinic is free, you will need to register as the maximum attendance for this event is 300. You can sign up your future NFL star here.
