Harrah’s Louisiana Downs Hosting Rescue Run Charity Event Saturday

One relationship I'm very proud of is the one I hold with Harrah's Louisiana Downs. I'm very proud to be a part of this fun, wonderful event.

Each year on Labor Day, you can find me on the race track at Harrah's. No, not announcing horse racing, instead, wiener dog races. This is one of my favorite events of the year, I can't possibly express exactly how much fun it is to watch wiener dogs running on that gigantic track.

This event will be very similar to that one, with one exception... It won't just be wiener dogs running on that beautiful track. This Rescue Run event will feature pets of all kinds racing for all of our enjoyment. It's being held for an excellent cause as well, benefiting retired race horse aftercare and our local pet charities.

You can even adopt a pet on-site during the event!

The festivities begin at 11:00 PM, the pet racing starts at 12:00 PM, and live racing on the track kicks off at 3:15 PM.
