Hunter/Jumper Horse Show This Weekend

Nothing gets me quite as excited as a horse show and since there's one scheduled this weekend at Double Rainbow AND I'm announcing, I'm doubly excited. The only thing that could top it would be if I were able to announce from horseback, but I haven't quite mastered that ability yet! Double Rainbow Equestrian Center is located on Adner Road, just off of Bellevue Road in Haughton. If you or your child is interested in learning to ride English or if you are a fan of the Hunter/Jumper sport, make plans to head to Haughton this weekend. The show runs both days with classes starting at 8am Saturday and 9am Sunday and it is recognized by both the NLEA and LHJA. You'll love to watch (and compete in) the $300 Hunter and Jumper Classics and the Medals Classes. On a side note, both rings are covered to get you in from out of the sun and there will be concessions.

Plus, the high point rider from the Double Rainbow shows will win a saddle at the conclusion of the show season. The finals show will be in October and it will also be a great chance to celebrate Halloween with the special Costume class!
