The 2020 Hurricane season has been one for the books, and it's still not over yet.

Delta currently has maximum sustained winds at 100mph and is moving WNW at 15mph toward the Gulf of Mexico. It will make landfall tomorrow morning in the Yucatan as a Category 4 storm, then take a forecast northerly turn for Louisiana's coast.

Meteorologist Zack Fradella shows the forecast of the storm getting back up to Category 4 strength in the middle of the Gulf, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that Delta will be a strong Category 3 storm at landfall. He's also mentioned we won't really be sure where the storm is going for another 48 hours or so.

SWLA is still in the cone of uncertainty, so we're not out of the woods until it makes landfall somewhere else.
