Is This The Best Chicken Sandwich in Shreveport?

Recently, I had an eye-opening experience. Or maybe, a mouth-opening experience. And I have some news to share with all of you.

Like many of you, I too have fallen victim to the Popeyes chicken sandwich craze. Don't get me wrong, the craze and fandom is well worth it, as no one can deny the deliciousness that is a Popeyes chicken sandwich. It wasn't until recently that I realized the best chicken sandwich in town resides at another fast-food chain.

I tried to guess chicken sandwiches while blindfolded. Spoiler alert: I got every single one of them wrong.

I've once tried to name chicken sandwiches while blindfolded and failed miserably, without getting a single sandwich correct.

I'm not a huge chicken sandwich fan myself, and it was my first time eating chicken sandwiches from these four restaurants so give me a break. I mean, before I took this challenge, the last chicken sandwich I ate was at Walnut Hill in middle school. I'm not a big chicken sandwich guy.

On my final sandwich, I quickly let everyone know that it was easily the best chicken sandwich I had ever tried. This thing was perfect, beyond belief. Naturally, I confidently stated that it was the Popeyes sandwich. It had to be Popeyes, right?

Wrong.

You can imagine my shock when they told me I was wrong.

Believe it or not, that final chicken sandwich came from Sonic! I know, I couldn't believe it either. So yes, I can now say with confidence that the very best chicken sandwich in town is at Sonic Drive-In.
