I'll be the first one to admit that my Christmas tree is fake. Oh, it may smell like a real Christmas tree, but it's not. We just hang those pine-scented sticks on it. I'll be honest with you, I think a real tree is way too much responsibility for me during the holidays. Like, let me get to a point where I don't wait until the week of Christmas to shop on a consistent basis. Only then can we talk about living trees.

However, there are people who delight in getting a real tree. Some even like to cut their own tree down and tie it to the top of the car to bring home. I applaud these people and typically post about them on social media with a #ChristmasGoals.
