Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos February 7th-13th

This week, 54 people were booked and kept at Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.

One of those booked was taken in for guns and drugs.

Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East Flournoy Lucas Road and Crooked Creek after observing a black Kia sedan commit a traffic violation.

Upon making contact with the driver, identified as 19 year-old Daryl Bates Jr., who a Corporal detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. Deputies also observed an AR-style rifle positioned next to Bates' right leg.

After further investigation, deputies found two bags with around 88.9 grams of suspected marijuana, along with the AR-style rifle. Deputies determined that Bates was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license.

Daryl Bates Jr. was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, and driving under suspension.

Bates was then transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.

All those pictured are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
