The one-time, lump sum payout now tops the $500 million dollar mark, before taxes. That means you would walk away with about $335 million after you pay the tax man.

49 tickets had 4 correct numbers and the Powerball number. Those tickets are worth $50,000. 12 of those tickets get double the money because they opted for the Powerplay.
Tickets for Powerball are really hot this holiday season as we are daydreaming about hitting it big and having an unlimited spending spree for Christmas. Powerball is played in most of the United States. It's the most widely available lottery game in the country.

What States Play in Powerball?
Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, five states do not participate in Powerball: Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. These states have chosen not to offer lottery games at all, usually due to state laws or constitutional restrictions. Everywhere else, players can buy Powerball tickets and take a shot at the game’s massive jackpots.
